RTPI Scotland seeks views on National Planning Framework 4: closing 17 January

Call for evidence and survey: RTPI Scotland is embarking on a project to support our members to inform and influence the early stages of preparation of National Planning Framework 4. This survey and call for evidence is looking for your reflections on how NPF3 has worked, and your ideas for improvement in NPF4.

RTPI Scotland writes:

The results of this survey will inform a series of chapter events in early 2020, where members will have a chance to communicate their ideas for NPF4 directly to the Scottish Government. Look out for details about the events in the monthly member bulletin.

The timeline for the production of NPF4 is as follows:

  • Early 2020 – Early engagement
  • Autumn 2020 – Draft for consultation laid in Scottish Parliament
  • (Spring 2021 – pre-election period)
  • 2021 – Final NPF4 approved by Parliament and adopted by Scottish Ministers

This survey will be open until 9am on Friday 17 January. You don’t need to answer every question if you don’t want to.
