Historic Environment Scotland (HES) seeks new Board Members in areas including archives, visitor management and large-scale project management as well as one new Board member to join the Audit, Risk & Assurance Committee. closing Friday, 6 December 2019.
We will be 5 years old in 2020 and we are looking for up to four new members to join the Board at an exciting time for the organisation
Applications are invited from a wide range of people, particularly from individuals with more specific skills-set in archives, world class visitor management and large-scale project management. We are looking for one new Board member to join our Audit, Risk & Assurance Committee.
HES has organised two events, open to prospective applicants, to learn more about our work, how we fulfil our responsibilities, and the expectations of being a Board member. They are an informal opportunity to hea

It is anticipated that up to four appointed members will take up post by 23 March 2020 for a period of four years, with the possibility of re-appointment subject to effective performance. The posts are not currently remunerated but reasonable travel and subsistence costs will be met.
