We’re going to build on our June Heritage Chat and discuss what non-funding support would help to support the regeneration of historic high streets (e.g. methods of support, training required, tools to help communities and Local Authorities engage with each other).
If you have particular questions that you would like to discuss under this theme, please add them to our GoogleDoc here: Call for Heritage Chat discussion points
The regeneration of high streets is a high profile topic at the moment and there are specific opportunities for historic high streets through the Historic England Heritage Action Zones, Architectural Heritage Fund ‘Transforming Places through Heritage’ programme and National Lottery Heritage Fund investment. In the chat we would like to explore what other forms of support will be beneficial to communities and local authorities working together to regenerate historic high streets and town centres.
Follow @HeritageChat to take part on the 19th September.
