IHBC’s HESPR top pick from £89M+ costed work this week: Waveney DC etc. seeks accredited architect for ‘as and when’ support for Lowestoft High Street Conservation Grant Scheme, closing 04/04, £25k-£50k

logoThe IHBC’s heritage business register HESPR – the Historic Environment Service Providers Recognition scheme – emails members weekly ‘News and Tender Alerts’, and the IHBC Director’s top pick for NewsBlog readers this week features a call led by Waveney District Council (DC) for a conservation accredited architect to support the Conservation Grant Scheme on the Lowestoft Historic High Street in a Heritage Action Zone (HAZ), closing 4 April and valued at £25k-£50k.

The IHBC Director’s pick from the HESPR News and Tender Alert email for this week features the call from Waveney District Council (WDC) is working in partnership on a ‘PSiCA Conservation Grant Scheme, on the Lowestoft Historic High Street, which sits within the HAZ area. This grant scheme will run from 1 April 2019 for three years. The Conservation Grant Scheme is looking to buy in the services of a conservation accredited architect to help support the scheme on an ‘as and when required basis’ throughout the life of the three year grant scheme’, with a closing date of 4 April and a valuation of £25,000 – £50,000.
