The insurance company Ecclesiastical has published its Heritage Sector insights which looks at managing risks and offers guidance that mirrors the themes of the 2019 IHBC Annual School in Nottingham in July.
Ecclesiastical monitored issues which cause concern within the heritage sector and found the area which caused the most concern was the impact of a major fire incident over which 76% were quite or very concerned. Of other conservation calamities 58% were concerned by the impact of a major weather incident and 18% were concerned about Terrorism.
