The ‘museums at night’ festival, run over three days this May, allows everyone to experience special ‘behind the scenes’ or late night events at museums throughout Wales, Scotland and England.
Events are wide and varied, and include a pub quiz in the Museum of the Order of St John, ‘grown-up colouring in’ at The Oxfordshire Museum, a British Cheese Party at the Museum of English Rural Life, a ceilidh at the Interactive Fields of Poppies Launch at Taigh Chearsabhagh on Uist, a Steampunk: Salvaged Jewellery Workshop at the University of Edinburgh Anatomy Museum and Drinks and nibbles on the roof of the Cardiff Story Museum.
