MSc Programme Leader
Circa £45k pro-rata
(work pattern to be agreed)
The overall responsibility of the Programme Leader will be to take the academic lead in managing the two MSc programmes at the Weald & Downland Living Museum validated by the University of York.
The successful Programme Leader will have demonstrable experience in taking responsibility for the academic delivery and development of an MSc Programme or similar level qualification.
In addition, the leader should have the ability to establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with our partner University alongside the understanding and expertise to ensure compliance with academic standards.
Professional understanding of building conservation is essential.
Head of Learning
To conceive, lead, manage and develop the Museum’s formal and public Learning Programmes to offer imaginative and diverse levels of learning opportunities for the public and educational groups, which take full advantage of the Museum’s unique qualities and which develop new audiences and income streams.
The successful candidate will have extensive management experience in a similar role in a museum, gallery or heritage environment including experience of conceiving and developing learning programmes and projects.
They will have a degree in a relevant subject area and be an accomplished communicator, advocator and have good ability and experience of managing staff and financial info/budgets.
Relevant post graduate qualification is desirable.
