The Council has secured Historic England funding to create the Swaffham High Streets Heritage Action Zone: a heritage-led programme that combines heritage, culture, community, enterprise and regeneration. High Streets Heritage Action Zones (HSHAZ) is Historic England’s national scheme investing £95m to provide support for historic high streets and the communities who use them so they can adapt to the challenges they face.
We are now seeking a Heritage Action Zone Project Manager to project manage and deliver this exciting programme jointly funded by Breckland District Council and Historic England to improve and enhance Swaffham Town Centre. For this role the post holder will possess experience within a relevant discipline such as Architecture, Planning, Conservation or Regeneration.
The post offers the chance to work in this dynamic, multidisciplinary team, make a clear impact and bring positive change to Swaffham for the benefit of its present and future communities.
