The Oxford Preservation Trust has for over ninety years been promoting the preservation and enhancement of the built, natural and historic environment for the benefit of the people of Oxford. You will be part of a small team of six and will be working with the director reviewing and commenting on planning issues in and around Oxford, taking a positive approach to guiding change, not stopping it.
The successful candidate will need to have an interest in heritage, urban design and landscape issue alongside a sound understanding and experience of development control, planning policy and law.
Successful candidates will be expected to be RTPI and/or IHBC qualified and should have a minimum of two years private or public sector experience in the planning field. An interest and knowledge of Oxford would be helpful. Excellent communication skills will also be required.
