Warwick District Council is looking for an exceptional, committed and enthusiastic Assistant Conservation Officer to join the Conservation & Design team. This is a unique opportunity to work in an area containing a diverse range of heritage assets including over 30 conservation areas, around 2000 listed buildings and iconic national treasures such as Warwick Castle, Kenilworth Castle and Stoneleigh Abbey, based in the Regency town of Royal Leamington Spa.

We are seeking candidates who are committed to effective heritage protection, excellent design and good customer service. The position is an excellent opportunity for those seeking to develop a career in conservation and IHBC membership. Roles will include managing a caseload of listed building consent applications, administrating a local list of heritage assets, providing advice and guidance on heritage matters to a wide range of stakeholders, consulting on planning applications and assisting with planning enforcement matters
