We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable historic environment specialist to join our friendly team of specialists in Planning, Conservation, Urban Design and Ecology.

Our rural boundaries stretch from the Marlborough Downs in the south to the edge of the Cotswolds in the north. We are also home to Brunel’s Railway Works and Workers Village and the regeneration of the Old Railway Quarter has already won regional and national recognition (RTPI Excellence in Planning for Heritage awards).
You would have the opportunity to be involved in proactive work on regeneration projects, HAZ bids, and policy documents, as well providing conservation and design advice and support. You should have or be working towards a relevant post-graduate qualification and you will need to have the ability to travel on site visits. Candidates must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act – for the effective performance of a customer-facing role).
