logo£26,556 – £29,892

Our success lies within our people so if you have the ambition, skills and experience we are looking for, you are inspired by our vision, and you believe you can make a difference then we’d love to hear from you.

We are looking for a confident and motivated person to join our heritage team. Working as part of the wider Environment Team you will support our planners and customers with the provision of heritage and conservation advice on planning and listed building applications.

As part of the role you will also deal and assist with a variety of different tasks including contributing to conservation area reviews, buildings at risk, responding to emails and requests for information, dealing with pre-application enquiries, and carrying out site visits.

You will need to have excellent communication skills, demonstrate good time management skills, and have attention to detail. In addition, you must be able to work flexibly as part of a team, and strive to ensure the best service is delivered to our customers at all times.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone seeking to develop their heritage career within a customer focused local authority located in Aylesbury Vale, an area with a high number of attractive conservation areas and listed buildings.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Gareth Bird, Environment Team Manager, Regulatory Services via recruitment@aylesburyvaledc.gov.uk
