Designed for a new generation of heritage leaders, this course gives today’s specialists (architects, surveyors, engineers, project managers, clerks of work, curators, conservators and designers) the interdisciplinary skills and mindset to be able to deliver the heritage programmes and projects of the future. Lecture courses and practicals deal with protected buildings and areas, their repair, restoration and re-use, heritage management, archaeology and historic town tourism. A Guest Lecture Series features distinguished speakers. The programme which includes a two week European study tour and six week work placement has a strong practical base, and is both fully accredited by the Institute of Historic Building Conservation and recognised as a specialist masters by the Royal Town Planning Institute.
