Cupar CARS/THI contractor bursaries for traditional building skills training: To £500

Cupar Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme/Townscape Heritage Initiative (CARS/THI) has announced that contractor bursaries of up to £500 are now available for traditional building skills training for apprentices and junior staff.

All of our courses are eligible to use with the bursary, and it may also be possible to arrange bespoke training.

  • Rubble Wall Building – 5 – 6 June 2018
  • Rendering & Harling with Lime – 21 – 22 June 2018
  • Lime Pointing – 23 June 2018
  • Making & Using Traditional Mortars – C1 Contractor Level 1 – 28 – 29 August 2018
  • Above Eaves Level – Traditional Slate Roofs – 4 – 5 September 2018
  • Sash & Case Window Repair – 15 September 2018
  • Making & Using Hot Mixed Lime Mortars – 28 September 2018
  • Traditional Masonry Repair – C2 Contractor Level 2 – 30 October – 1 November 2018
  • Surface Repair of Stone – 13 – 14 November 2018
  • Basic Masonry Skills – 29 – 30 November 2018
