The next round of the IHBC’s popular and free MATE sessions – our Membership Application Training Events, supporting applications for IHBC accreditation – is under way with plans in place for Nottingham (25/04), Belfast (31/05: Online booking open), Glasgow (7/06), so be sure to book your place early with Kate at email@example.com.
Kate Kendall, IHBC LETS Officer and lead on the MATE seminars said: ‘Are you unsure where to start with your application? Do you want to get to grips with the IHBC’s Areas of Competences? Come along to one of the sessions and take the opportunity to speak with other Branch members to seek their advice and guidance on the application process. The session could be just the help and push you need to finally get on with your application and getting those all-important post nominals.’
‘The most recent session, in London, was very well received with some positive feedback, one attendee saying they ‘certainly feel more confident and ready to work on [their] application’. That is just what ou MATE sessions aim to deliver!’
‘I would also like to take the opportunity to thank the Branch and committee volunteers who help deliver the sessions, as without them they would not be the success that they clearly are!’
Next MATE sessions will take place in:
- Nottingham, 25th April
- Belfast, 31st May (Book here)
- Glasgow, June 7th.
Email Kate firstname.lastname@example.org for further details and booking.
There will be further sessions in new locations in the autumn, with details to be confirmed soon.
All sessions are advertised on our new UK-wide IHBC Branches Update – see the IHBC NewsBlogs
