Wales: Owners etc. consultation on historic parks and gardens boundaries 

Historic Parks and Gardens CadwWales has had a non-statutory register of historic parks and gardens since 1994 and it will form the basis for the new statutory register established by the 2016 Act, while in advance Cadw will consult with owners and occupiers on boundaries before bringing the statutory register into force during 2018.

Cadw writes:

Wales has had a non-statutory register of historic parks and gardens since 1994 and it will form the basis for the new statutory register established by the 2016 Act.

In preparation for the move to statutory status, Cadw has reviewed the boundaries of the nearly 400 registered sites and will conduct a consultation exercise with owners and occupiers before bringing the statutory register into force during 2018.
