HESPR’s top pick of the week: NHMF seeks evaluation of projects funded closing 26 August, valued £30,000

The IHBC’s heritage business listing, HESPR – the Historic Environment Service Providers Recognition scheme – offers members weekly Bulletins that bring tender and other business opportunities together into one handy resource, while the Director’s top pick for NewsBlog readers this week features a call from the National Heritage Memorial Fund (NHMF) for evaluation of the Heritage Grants projects funded under HLF’s 3rd Strategic Plan (SP3) (from 2008-13), valued at £50,000, and closing 26 August.

IHBC Chair James Caird said: ‘Our weekly Bulletin of current tender notifications to HESPR members is an innovative service that supports commercial conservation businesses that work to the IHBC’s standards and expectations.  These weekly selections offer the wider heritage world a regular insight into the conservation profession that we hope combine good news, sector profile and service inspiration all in one.’

Top tender pick of the week:

The IHBC Director’s pick from the HESPR Bulletin for this week is a call from the National Heritage Memorial Fund for an ‘evaluation of the Heritage Grants projects funded under HLF’s 3rd Strategic Plan (SP3), which ran from December 2008 to March 2013.’  The NHMF notes that ‘Under SP3 HLF awarded over £964m to 777 Heritage Grants, ranging in size from £50,000 to over £5m. Of these 777 projects, 375 are now complete. This study will involve a comprehensive review of the self-evaluation reports and the outcomes achieved by 150-175 Heritage Grants projects completed since July 2016, and which were funded under SP3.’

The work is valued at £50,000, and closes 26 August.
