The IHBC’s heritage business listing, HESPR – the Historic Environment Service Providers Recognition scheme – offers members weekly Bulletins that bring tender and other business opportunities together into one handy resource, while the Director’s top pick for NewsBlog readers this week features a call from Saffron Walden Town Council for a consultant to provide a multidisciplinary team for a Parkland Management Plan for Bridge End Gardens, Saffron Walden – A Grade II* Registered Park and Garden, valued at £5000, and closing 30 July.

The IHBC Director’s pick from the HESPR Bulletin for this week is a call from Saffron Walden Town Council for a ‘Lead Consultant to provide a multidisciplinary team’ for a Parkland Management Plan for Bridge End Gardens, Saffron Walden – A Grade II* Registered Park and Garden.  The Plan will ‘focus primarily on identifying the particular significance and condition of parkland structures within the gardens, making recommendations for consolidation, repair and maintenance and upon a survey of existing planting and maintenance regime, providing advice and guidance for revised planting and management, including areas for natural habitat… A full brief will be produced by Historic England and the plan will be approved by Historic England under the terms of a Heritage at Risk grant…’  The work is valued at £5000, and bids close 30 July
