IHBC and more recognised for advisory roles in THA‘s responses summary to Heritage 2020 consultation

Heritage 2020 website 11 July 2017The Heritage Alliance (THA) has released the responses summary to its 2016 consultation on Heritage 2020, with bodies such as the IHBC and the Heritage Trust Network especially recognised for their information and advisory services.

THA writes:

At the end of 2016, Heritage 2020 ran a consultation to raise awareness of the Heritage 2020 initiative (a mechanism to bring organisations together to add value to their individual work by working together), gain input on the initial priorities for action, and involve more people in Heritage 2020.

Many good ideas and shared concerns were put forward and the responses have now been summarized under the five Heritage 2020 themes. Each of the five working groups has reviewed the responses and the summary document shows how the suggestions contributed through the consultation have shaped each group’s future activity.

The exercise also highlighted the need for more, and better, communication about the Heritage 2020 initiative itself.
