Don’t forget: Historic England’s Heritage Angels Awards open till 4 June: Say ‘Well Done’ to someone you know – even yourself!

Angel Awards 2017 website 120517Historic England’s Angel Awards celebrate the efforts of people taking action to champion their local heritage, and opportunities for nomination and application are currently open with four award categories to apply for in 2017:

  • Best Rescue of a Historic Building
  • Best Contribution to a Heritage Project by Young People
  • Best Craftsmanship or Apprentice on a Heritage Rescue or Repair Project
  • Best Rescue, Recording or Interpretation of a Historic Place.

The Historic England Angel Awards celebrate the efforts of people taking action to champion their local heritage.

The awards were founded by Andrew Lloyd Webber and are co-funded by the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation

We are now open for applications for the 2017 Angel Awards. You can apply for yourself, or you can nominate another person or group for an award.

The winners will be announced and presented with their awards at a glittering ceremony at the Palace Theatre in London in mid-autumn.
