The Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) awarded the Council £1.9million for the Townscape Heritage Programme, with an additional £1million contribution by North East Lincolnshire Council, for ‘Discover Cleethorpes’, a heritage and restoration programme that will breathe new life into Victorian and late Georgian buildings centred around two seafront streets – Alexandra Road and Sea View Street. The Programme will deliver significant heritage outcomes by offering grant funding to match private sector investment in the repair, restoration and re-use of key buildings as well as enhancements to public realm.
We are seeking to recruit a project manager who will be responsible for the day to day delivery of the Programme ensuring it meets all of its objectives. A good working knowledge of HLF funded schemes is required for this role, as well as experience in heritage-led regeneration.
You will be qualified to a degree level in a related field and accredited by a relevant technical/professional body, for example, the Institute of Historic Building Conservation. The Programme will have a strong focus on stakeholder engagement therefore experience of working with a diverse range of audiences and stakeholders, would be an advantage.
For an informal discussion, contact Helen Thompson, Investment Team Manager North East Lincolnshire Council (01472) 325722.
