Orion Heritage is a dynamic archaeology and heritage consultancy which has been experiencing sustained growth since its inception in 2015. We wish to expand our Built Heritage Team by appointing a Senior/Principal Built Heritage Consultant; and are looking for a commercially aware, talented and motivated individual to provide solid and consistent advice to our clients.
The role would include preparing Heritage Assessments/Statements, built heritage input in EIAs and Statements of Significance. Experience of public inquiries, hearings and written representations would be desirable, as would working in both the public and private sectors.
By way of applying your expertise in analysis and assessment, you will guide our clients through the process of dealing with heritage issues in the planning system.
You should also have the ability to generate work through contacts and business development activity.
You will hold a relevant degree. Membership of the IHBC is preferred.
The location of the role is dependent upon appointing the most suitable candidate and can be in any one of our three offices. The role is full time, although part-time will be considered.
