Church of St John, Heather, Leicestershire Expressions of interest are invited from suitably experienced conservation-specialist building contractors for works to this Grade II* listed church, for the PCC of St John, Heather. The project will include replacement of the tower roof structure and roof covering, repairs to high level tower masonry, repairs to tower bell chamber louvres, and repairs to rainwater goods. It is anticipated that tender documents will be issued to no more than four contractors in June or July 2018, and that work will start on site in the latter part of 2018, or in the early part of 2019.
